⚾️ Quick Closing Ceremonies Update ⚾️

Unfortunately, due to a shipping delay, the custom jersey created through our Design a Jersey Contest will not arrive in time to be worn by the Emeralds at tonight’s Closing Ceremonies.

The Emeralds are planning to wear the jersey at a future game, with Fireworks Night on June 26 currently being considered.

We’re disappointed, but still excited to celebrate an amazing season with all of our WVBR families tonight at PK Park! ❤️⚾️💙

Join us tonight at PK Park as we celebrate another amazing season of baseball, sportsmanship, growth, and memories across Willamette Valley Babe Ruth!

🕔 4:45–5:00 PM
Players, parents, and coaches check in at the gate closest to the parking lot. Emeralds staff will be scanning tickets for entry.

🎤 5:10–5:20 PM
Player Q&A
Players will be seated on the first base side.

⚾ 5:25–5:35 PM
Players and coaches report to the staging area and line up for the Parade of Teams.
Parents and guests should move to their assigned seats.

🏟️ 6:05 PM
Parade of Teams
Followed by league recognitions, special presentations, and the ceremonial first pitch.

👏 6:20 PM
Players and coaches return to seating.

Eugene Emeralds Game Begins!

Happy Mother’s Day to all of our incredible WVBR moms, grandmas, stepmoms, and mother figures!

Thank you for the early mornings, late nights, endless car rides, packed coolers, dirty laundry, team snacks, and unconditional support you give not only your own players, but entire teams and communities. Baseball season simply would not run without you.

You are the cheerleaders, organizers, photographers, snack moms, uniform washers, emotional support systems, and biggest fans behind the scenes. Most importantly, you are raising great kids both on and off the field.

We hope today you feel celebrated, appreciated, and loved. Happy Mother’s Day from all of us at Willamette Valley Babe Ruth ⚾️💐

We are currently looking to fill the following volunteer board positions for:

• Event Coordinator
• Social Media Correspondent

These roles are a great opportunity to help shape and support youth baseball in our community while making a positive impact for our players and families.

Whether you have years of experience or simply a passion for helping kids and growing the game, we would love to connect with you. You do not need to currently be on the board to express interest.
