To enjoy and respect wilderness beauty through running, hiking and exploring, at high altitudes are the major objectives of this camp. A Big Time Sunrise Thank Ya 🌅 to Maintenance Man, Nate Copper! Among many other cool upgrades, Nate built the Camp BBQ out of an old 1930’s Steel Water Trough used for watering horses on the property. This Summer we used it for: Friday Nite BBQ 🍔, Rib Eye Steaks for Tent Assistants/Staff/Returning Campers 🥩, Fresh Alaska Halibut & Coho Salmon (Thanks Coach Ostrom & Coach Bynagle out of Homer, Alaska) 🎣, Whole Roasted Pig 🐖, Smoked Turkey and Pork Shoulder 🍗👨🏻‍🍳, & Baked Potato Bar 🥔. With this addition We plan on cooking up some tasty dishes for Team Steens 4 years to Come! Props Nate and Copper Family for your generosity! 🙏🏼⛰️🤛🏼🏹

QuakenAspen Theater Shoutout 📣📣 Congrats to the following “High Attitude” Campers selected by their Tent Assistants for stand out performances throughout the Week in not only running but as extraordinary Tent Members: volunteering, working extra hard on Camp Chores, lending a helping hand to tentmates, stepping Up without being asked, etc. For their efforts, our Friends at Nike will be sending them ACG Running Apparel in the coming days. 🦅🪶🌻🏕️⛰️🌅
