Thinking about joining Sender’s League? Here are some things to know:
🔵 What is Sender’s League?
Sender’s League is a 3-week team competition designed to shake up your climbing routine, create a fun opportunity to challenge yourself, and give us all an excuse to come together as a community and play!
🔵 Who is it for?
Sender’s League is for all climbers. Teens and kids can participate as long as they have appropriate adult supervision.
🔵 Do I have to be an experienced climber? Is it competitive?
You do not have to be an experienced climber to do well in the Sender’s League! Sender’s League is competitive like going to trivia with your friends is competitive. Will there be winners and prizes? Yes. Is it scary and serious? Definitely not.
🔵 Is it a big time commitment?
We know summer is a busy time, so our summer Sender’s League is only 3 sessions long. The sessions are 2 hours each on Wednesday evenings—June 17th and 24th, and July 1st from 5:30-7:30pm.
🔵 What if I can’t make it to all of the sessions?
Ideally you would be able to attend all 3 sessions, but your team can still participate without you if you miss one or arrive late.
🔵 What are the activities?
We’re keeping the challenges a surprise, but expect a series of mini-games, like a climbing version of Mario Party. Some of the games will require good communication, some will require a strategic approach, and some will simply require a lot of climbing! Referees will explain the rules and keep score, but they won’t be judging climbing performance.
🔵 What if I don’t have a team?
No problem. Simply register as a “free agent” and we’ll place you on a team before the event starts. Signing up as a free agent is an excellent way to make new friends and connect with new people in the community.
