Poker at "The Rob"

Poker at "The Rob" Weekly home No Limit Texas Hold'em tournament. $26 buy-in, every Tuesday night at 7pm. Our tournament runs every Tuesday night at 7pm.

The blinds are structured to give you a ton of play early in the night, while still allowing you to get home by 11:30 or so even if you're there at the end. You start with 30K in chips (35K if we have only one table), and 20 minute rounds starting at 100-200. We have one unique rule, the "Linus" rule, named after a former player that used to go broke within the first couple of rounds every week. T

he first player to go broke (or the first two if there's only one table), is able to rebuy if they so choose. This is a friendly game, and I don't tolerate any angry or abusive behavior in my home. It's low stakes, but high quality, with some of the best tournament players in town competing every week.

Next Tuesday, the 8th, will be the 15-year anniversary of “The Rob”. Would love to see some of the people who have played over the years. I’ll be giving out some door prizes, and throwing in some gift cards for the winners.

Just for funsies: Tonight, in honor of 2’s-day, 2-22-22, the 2nd round will last for 22:22 instead of the usual 20 minutes, and for that round only, 2’s will be wild.

If you haven’t played since we’ve been back live, I will need to see a copy of your vaccination card. We are vaccine mandatory.

The new online season of “The Rob” starts tonight at 7. If you want to play and need info, please message me.

The new season of the live game starts on Tuesday.

Tonight is the first night of the 2021 season of “The Rob”. We’re still online due to Covid, and using the Pokerrrr2 app. But since we’re online now, you no longer need to be local to play. So if you’re interested in playing tonight, we’ll be starting up at 7pm. If you’ve never played before, contact me and I’ll get you the information to get signed up.

So we are up and running on the “Pokerrrr 2” app. We’ll be having the tournaments every Tuesday at 7, just like usual. The blind structure, starting chips, and even the “Linus Rule” are exactly the same.

If you want to play, and haven’t signed up yet, let me know and I’ll get you the info.

The buy-in will remain $26, I’ll be charting all the money and will settle up at the end.
