P.G.F Basketball Academy is a Nonprofit Christian-based Mentoring and Basketball Organization. PLEASE NOTE this does not exclude any youth that practice any other religious belief. The ultimate focus of P.G.F., (Put God First), Basketball Academy, is to help each youth become a success in our community while putting God first. Through seminars, clinics, and basketball league play each participant
will learn five principles. The five principle include: LEADERSHIP, CHARACTER, CRITICAL THINKING, DISCIPLINE, and HARD WORK. Also each players will be coached and trained on making better decisions and helping others in their communities. Basketball Academy provides seminars, skills training, league games, basketball practice, and life lessons. Through my mentoring efforts, I have gotten to know a number of young individuals in the Cleveland area and I have found that there is a need for these young individual to have an outlet, an outlet which my program will provide. The bond I formed with these individuals is like a brotherhood/sisterhood held within the P.G.F. program.
