At Buck Run Hunting Lodge we offer fair chase Whitetail and Turkey hunts. We have the longest deer season in the US and would love to have you join us.

Our hunts include lodging and incredible meals that are sure to add a few pounds during your stay. We are located in the beautiful low country of Estill, South Carolina. We are celebrating 30 years of excellence this year!

Man what a great night! In an industry where social media, the internet and everyone puts the pressure on shooting “trophy deer” or whatever the world considers a “shooter buck” we get to celebrate a harvest like this. Eddy Jr harvested his personal best buck on the last night last hour. I’ve been blessed enough to be a part of Eddy’s introduction to hunting, his first harvest and a pile of memories that can never be replaced. The second pic shows what hunting is all about. Family and friends is what it’s about and sure everyone wants to shoot a monster buck but in my option we as an industry have forgotten how to manage expectations. Shoot what makes you happy and remember the fellowship and relationships you build along the way, those will last longer than any mount!!!

This is Butch, know to those close to him as “Homer”. He is 83 years young and comes every year to Buck Run along with hunting in PA every fall. Spending time with this guy is a high point for me each year. He was able to harvest this doe and drop her in place on the last hunt marking the start of another deer season for him! It’s a pleasure to be apart of his adventures every year and the laughs and jokes that go with it. I love you old friend and can’t wait until next year!

Ken with a beauty the last night last 5 minutes of light. This guy was rutted up and his antlers were full of tree bark. Great job Ken and crew. This is always one of the best hunts of the years and it usually takes a week for my stomach to recover from all the shenanigans😂
