Scott Reise is the final OG of Baltimore Brazilian Jiu-Jitsu to get his black belt. Scott started at the Kenwood Ave location about 15 years ago. He started this sport in his mid 30s. Even into his 50s he has continued to keep competing and training on a consistent basis.

He has always been a true team mate and friend to everyone around him. We are truly honored to welcome him into the black belt ranks of Balance BJJ.

Monday nights at 7 PM we will now have Judo.

Recently Seigneury Dojo in Rosedale MD closed its doors. Some of their instructors will now be running a class at Baltimore BJJ. If you are a former member of Seigneury you may attend this class for free.

Eventually we hope to offer a larger schedule for their academy members and others interested in Judo.

This is also free for all Baltimore BJJ members.

Our Spring Promotion is in the books and it was a large one.

The Balance family has added seven blue belts, three purple belts, and two more brown belts to the mix.

Many of those who went up today have had this coming for a very long time. Through injury and through hard work they continued to persist. Their consistency has been recognized and rewarded.

Thank you to all of our affiliates, fellow academies, friends, and families who joined us today to show them all love.
