It’s been such an honor working with the amazing class of RISE Valley Seniors this past year! Today marks one year of weekly classes focused on building strength, mobility, flexibility, balance and most of all fun! Thanks to for the opportunity to bring SL8’s style of fitness to the Senior community here in Capay Valley! We will be having an information session at RISE on September 26 at 9:30 to explain medicare fitness benefits that we accept at the Esparto and Woodland gyms. If you are eligible for fitness benefits through Silver Sneakers, Renew Active, Fit On Health (formerly Peer Fit Move) or Silver & Fit, you could be enjoying a free membership! Attend this 15 minute session to learn more!

We are so excited to announce that we will be kicking off a new Senior Fitness class at RISE in Esparto Starting next Tuesday at 9:30. This class is designed specifically for seniors to focus on building strength, improving mobility and balance, and cardio conditioning. Join Tyler and Marilyn for this kick off class next week!

Great news! We have been approved to resume operations in the building and will be open our regular Sunday hours tomorrow: 8:00 am to 5:00 pm. Labor Day hours on Monday will be 8:00 am to 1:00 pm. We wanted to thank all of our members for their understanding of this unexpected closure. We also want to express gratitude to the Yolo County Building Officials, the Yolo County Department of Community Services, New Season Development Corporation and all involved in completing the work over the weekend to ensure our building was safe!
