Cma San-Diego WingsofEagles We are a fellowship of Christian Bikers representing the saving grace of Jesus Christ, who died and rose again to redeem all to eternity in heaven with God

CMA Wings of Eagles Chapter #498, North County San Diego, CA is a fellowship of Christian Bikers, providing a safe group to hang around and provide fellowship revolving around a love of people and motorcycling. We have one Chapter meeting on the fourth Saturday of each month, open to anyone. We participate in biker events and volunteer our time and energy to gain respect and to give us a chance to

speak to people about a life changed by a relationship with Jesus Christ and God the Father. Our goal is to present the saving grace of Jesus Christ, his death and resurrection and how that allows anyone who will accept His work, turn from their sin and follow His teachings to spend eternity with God in heaven.

Our group rides are safe and led by our excellent Road Captain and VP Larry. We ride at a brisk but not outrageous pace-definitely not THIS slow!

Carl aka Coyote got a metric sport-tourer tire and had me in the shop yesterday afternoon from a phone call Monday morning. Always respected Coyote and the Saddletramps I’ve met, now I’m a satisfied customer as well. Next time your bike needs new “dancin’ shoes” keep him in mind.

Weekly CMA Devotional. Servant of the Most High God

John Ogden Sr

August 6, 2026

“Whoever desires to become great among you shall be your servant. And whoever of you desires to be first shall be slave of all. For even the Son of Man did not come to be served, but to serve, and to give His life a ransom for many” (Mark 10:43b-45, NKJV).

Servanthood can only be accomplished through a child of the King, and not just any child. For God to use us in His Kingdom, we must understand what it means to be a servant. Many people talk about being a servant, but their actions demonstrate that they desire to sit at the head of the table and to be recognized by men. We, as servants, need only to be recognized by our Lord and Savior. For all that we do is to point souls to Him.

When we maintain a humble and obedient attitude, then He can truly use us, for it is not our abilities, but our availability to be a servant. The world’s plan is, “How can I get to the next position of importance; how can I be important and elevated by man?” God’s plan is that if we desire to be a servant and become the least, then He will make us great in His Kingdom. This greatness may never be seen by man but will be rewarded by God with accomplishments that will last beyond this world. God tells us that if we are faithful over a few, He will make us faithful over many, but only because we are in a place of total obedience as a servant.

I believe a picture of servanthood in the Kingdom of God would be like a great ship. In the time of Christ, large ships were propelled by men with oars. A man or family owned the large ocean-going ships, and a captain was hired to oversee the ship. The captain had a first mate, and then there was a crew of men who oversaw the day-to-day activities of the ship. Underneath this position were the oarsmen. The oarsmen were the least of the least, but nothing would happen without their contributions. The boat would not move, the cargo would not be delivered, and the kingdom would not be increased for the owner. They propelled the boat, thereby serving the crew, the first mate, the captain, and the owner of the ship. This gives us a picture of servanthood. The owner of the ship would be like God the Father. The captain of the ship would be like Jesus. The first mate would be like the Holy Spirit. The oarsmen would be the servants of today. You and I must be like the oarsmen, becoming servants to all for the cause of Christ.

Are we willing to be oarsmen for the Kingdom of God?
