Holy Name Football: We have 2 games scheduled, Tuesday October 20th @ Munising with kick off at 6:00 PM. The second on Tuesday October 27th @ Superior Central with a kick off at 4:30 PM. The players will be released early on the 27th. More details on the early release to come. :)

Good morning! I’m sure most of you have heard about the Governor’s latest Executive Order that allows Fall sports. I have sent emails to our league AD’s to find out what we are going to do, this involves football, girls basketball & cheer. Once I know something I will post it out. Please continue to be patient 💚

Yesterday the MHSAA announced that the football season is pushed to Spring. Holy Name runs by the MHSAA rules. I know there is a lot of disappointment regarding this but the decision was made with the best interest of everyone in mind. Stay safe and stay healthy.

I had a meeting via Zoom today with the Little Cedar River Conference schools (Holy Name, Bark River-Harris, Carney, North Central, and Stephenson) to discuss Girls JH Basketball and the consensus was to reschedule the Girls JH Basketball season to the Spring. We will be meeting again later in the fall to work out logistics and schedules. I will be sending an email to the middle school parents.

I do not have any information to share at this time about 7th & 8th grade football. I hope to have answers by the end of this week.

Holy Name 4th - 8th grade girls are invited to a FREE basketball skills and drills clinic March 2nd, 4th, 9th, 11th, 16th and 18th in the Holy Name
Gym from 2:30-4PM. The kids will learn footwork skills,
passing, dribbling, shooting, ball handling, defense,
rebounding, layups and much more. Games will also be
played the last week. Registration forms were emailed to Holy Name families.
