If your child struggles with quitting when things get hard, don’t panic!!! Resilience is learned, just like every other skill!

The biggest transformation in kids is when their effort is praised more than talent.

That’s where it grows.
How I use this at home with my kids:
I thank them for trying new foods (even if they don't like it).
I offer high-fives when they finish their chores and homework.
I praise them when they give their best effort and 'fail' anyway.

Mistakes, failures, or less-than-perfect outcomes are just part of life.

Our job as mentors is to help them work through the disappointment (and all the tears) so they can see it's NEVER the end of the world!! And quitting is NOT an option!
