Whispering Woods Golf Club is looking to add two positions to our Golf Course Maintenance Team for the remainder of this season and continuing into next year for a permanent position. We are looking for dependable, hardworking individuals who take pride in their work and enjoy working outdoors. Whether you have previous golf course experience or are looking to get started in the industry, we'd love to hear from you!

Added Bonus! Both positions include a membership to the club, and all tee times are to be booked through the pro shop!

⛳ POSITION #1: GOLF COURSE MAINTENANCE / MOWING CREW

This position will have a primary focus on mowing and maintaining the golf course. Responsibilities will include operating riding mower units, mowing fairways and approaches.

Previous golf course maintenance, landscaping, or commercial mowing experience helps, but the right candidate with a strong work ethic and willingness to learn will be considered. Thorough training will be given to the operator to ensure safety, efficiency, comfortability, and overall success in completing what is asked of you.

This is a part time/seasonal position (15-25 hours a week).
Early and late season hours: 5:30AM-10:30AM
Mid-season hours: 5:00 AM-10:00 AM

🌱 POSITION #2: GOLF COURSE MAINTENANCE CREW MEMBER

This is an opportunity for someone looking to get started in golf course maintenance. Responsibilities will include daily course setup, watering and irrigation, landscaping, general grounds maintenance, course cleanup, and assisting with the overall preparation and upkeep of the golf course. With proper training, there will also be opportunities to operate mowers, larger maintenance equipment, utility vehicles, and other grounds equipment.

No previous golf course experience is required, but helps, for this position. We are willing to train the right person who is dependable, hardworking, willing to learn, and takes pride in their work. Previous landscaping, groundskeeping, construction, agricultural, or equipment experience is a plus.

This is a part-full-time/seasonal position (30-40 hours a week)
Early and late season hours: 5:30AM-2:00 PM
Mid-season hours: 5:00 AM-1:30 PM

For both positions, reliability, trainable, a strong work ethic, and the ability to work as part of a team are extremely important. Both positions require working outdoors in a variety of weather conditions and includes early morning starts, weekends, and holidays as scheduled.
