While staying in Ireland during the summer of 2013, Long's Dance Director, Lee ann Long, continued her Master Instructor level training. Lee Ann studied with Master Instrutors Mick O'Reilly and Mary Beth Taylor. Mary Beth Taylor has her own school in Dublin named Scoil Rince Taylor and is known for her classes and performances at the Cobblestone Pub. Long's will now be offering Irish Dance Classes
at our Main Location (826 Selinger Ave.). Our first lesson began Saturday, October 5, 2013 to a filled class. We are currently accepting enrollment for new classes at this time. We are also very excited to announce that International Master Instructor, Mick O'Reilly, traveled from Ireland to teach a Master Irish Class on Sunday, November 24th. The class was open to all individuals interested in learning about this exciting style of dance. Long's is pleased to announce that Mick O'Reilly has joined Long's faculty and as such will be instructing periodic Master Classes at the school. The first workshops were held in November of 2013. Long's has also been accepted for membership by the World Irish Dance Association (WIDA). Long's students will be competing in future WIDA sanctioned competitions.
