Last year we used Erie Gives Day funds to purchase high quality paddles for youth players AND to fund a youth division in our tournament so these players didn’t have to pay anything to participate! The youth were ECSTATIC when they found out the paddles were theirs to keep.

We hope to make this an annual event and would love your support again! If you have it in your budget, please consider making a donation.

A huge THANK YOU to everyone who made our Memorial Shootout such a success. One out of town participant commented that EPPA runs "the Wimbledon of tournaments" and that was quite a compliment.

To our incredible volunteers- thank you for giving your time, energy, and countless hours behind the scenes. Events like this can't happen without you.

To our 84 players who competed over two days- thank you for bringing your competitive spirit, sportsmanship, and incredible rallies that kept everyone entertained all weekend.

To our spectators- thank you for packing Baldwin Park and creating such an amazing atmosphere. Your cheers and support made every match even more special.

We couldn't have asked for better weather, better competition, or a better pickleball community. Thank YOU for making this weekend one to remember.

Day two of our Memorial Shootout kicks off today at Baldwin Park at 10 am with full court singles and our youth division! This afternoon at 2 pm is Mixed Doubles Under 4.0. Come cheer on your friends and celebrate those who we are honoring- people who helped support and grow pickleball in our area!

This week was so rewarding for all who participated in Urban University’s Pickleball
Program. The youth grew SO much and showed off their skills during a fun rotating partner tournament today. Some of the points were wild with tight games! All of the 14 players shined on the courts with positivity, athleticism, and joy of pickleball. Around the Post Indoor Pickleball Center Erie, PA was happy to donate the court time all week to help support this amazing program. Each of the youth left with a brand new Diadem paddle purchased with our Erie Gives Day money from last year. This was the perfect way to grow our sport. 🤩 🏓 💙

The look of the faces on the participants when they learned they get to KEEP the paddles was priceless! Everyone is growing through drills, games, paddles taps, laughs, and fun. What a week!
