🔥 ONE SEASON. TWO WAYS TO COMPETE.
There’s been a lot of interest in the Nebraska Sandhills Hunting Challenge, but we’ve also heard some confusion about how it works.
Here’s the simple breakdown:
🏹 HUNT IT
Hunt It is the field competition. Hunters compete throughout the season by pursuing different Nebraska species, using different hunting methods, completing Slams, earning achievements and taking on Wild Card Challenges.
This isn’t about stacking up the biggest bag. It’s about building the strongest overall season through skill, strategy and versatility.
Each hunter receives a competition number and token. Hunts and harvests are submitted through HuntMetric with video verification. Once approved, points are added to the hunter’s score and the Hunt It leaderboard is updated.
🎯 Pick ‘Em
Pick ‘Em is the prediction competition. Pick ‘Em players follow the hunters and make weekly predictions about what will happen in the Hunt It competition.
Who will get it done? Which species will hit the board? What challenges will be completed?
Make the right calls, earn points and climb the Pick ‘Em leaderboard.
You can compete in both competitions — hunting in Hunt It and making predictions in Call It — but you cannot make predictions about yourself specifically.
So there are two separate ways to compete:
🏹 HUNT IT: Go into the field. Pursue species. Complete challenges. Earn points based on your actual season.
🎯 Pick ‘Em: Follow the hunters. Make predictions about the competition. Earn points based on how accurately you predict what happens in the field.
Different species. Different methods. Different challenges.
One season. Two competitions.
