It was a wild weekend for the “Minnesota boys.” Friday started off good for Mason, He had 44 karts in his class. Mason made it into the B main, they had 2 B mains and one C main. The competition was tough, but fun. Mason went out Saturday pumped and ready to go trying to get a spot in the feature. The race just started, as Mason was coming into turn one, he got a quick hit from another driver and it sent mason into his first full roll. It was a hard tumble. We were all a little nervous, except Mason🤣, I got out there and they said “ he’s going back out.” I asked if he was okay, he said he was. Alright, Men were jumping on the back of his kart trying to straighten it out after some fixing the left front tire wouldn’t move. The spindle was bent. As determined as he was, he couldn’t finish the race. Mason is doing good with just a few bruises. Mason’s buddy Cam was running good, he ended up taking a hard hit that took him out and sent him to the C main. He went out and dominated the C main, started 9th and took 2nd. Next it was B main, He started 11th and took 7th. He drove hard. It was tough competition. His buddy Ashton Martin took home 3rd in intermediate class. It was a fun weekend full of memories.
