It’s our first Meet the Staff Monday of 2026!! We’ve got some new faces around the DZ and today I’m hyping up a jumper you might not even realize works here. Christian!

Christian works with DZO Marc on a ton of stuff when Skydive Utah is closed on Tuesdays and Wednesdays. Ever wonder how the plane stays clean? Random maintenance around the bubble? Mowed fields? That’s all him!

Christian recently moved here from WA to go through flight school 👨‍✈️ He started skydiving in 2021 with his dad at Skydive Kapowsin! He’s been a fun jumper here for a bit and started working at the DZ this season.

Outside of skydiving, he mountain bikes, has his scuba license, and likes flying planes.

Skydive Utah Safety Day 2026 info! March 28th at 5 pm.
Bonfire after! (Weather permitting)

We’ll be open for jumping at noon on the 28th and safety day will start at 5pm rain or shine.

All solo students and licensed skydivers are welcome! This event is not for tandem skydivers.

If you haven’t been before, Safety Day is a nationally recognized event at dropzones across the country. Expect to spend about 2 hours with us as we review safety in skydiving, focusing on incidents in 2025. We intend to review incidents, learn from them, and promote safety and communication within the sport of skydiving.

Community is a big part of Skydive Utah and skydiving in general - we hope to see all of our fun jumpers and AFF students at Safety Day. Stick around for the bonfire after!

The 2026 season is coming up and Skydive Utah has some exciting announcements 🎉

First, we are starting the season sooner with weekends-only operations in March! We’ll open up at noon so that we’re jumping during the best part of the day.

Then, in April, we’ll start the full 5 days a week operations (Thursdays-Mondays, same as last year).

Aaaaaaand

Starting in May we are doing something I think people are going to be stoked on!!….Sunset Thursdays!!! Every Thursday starting in May, we’ll open late at 3pm and jump all afternoon. We know you all love your sunset loads so we are trying to make them happen more often!

We want to give a huge congratulations to our pilot, Justin, who hit 1500 hours of flight time today! We are stoked for you!!
This is Justin’s 8th season at Skydive Utah 🥹 from Manifest to Packer, Tandem Instructor, AFFI, Rigger, and finally as our full time Pilot this season - he has put in a ton of hard work to get here! Next time you see him make sure to say congrats 🎉
