This is the results from the LHSBN State Championship held on the Calcasieu River (133 high school teams competed).

16th place- Brayden Landry and Branson Word

73rd place- Bradley Gravouia and Phillip Schexnaider

Congratulations guys and way to finish off your 4th and final season with a bang!

Day 2 (final) LHSBN State Championship

Brayden Landry and Branson Word
3 fish for 3.32 lbs and a 2 day total of 7.74 lbs
They were only able to hold 1st place Big Bass of the tournament for day 1. Today another team brought a 4+ pounder to the scales.

Bradley Gravouia and Phillip Schexnaider
1 fish for 1.76 lbs which is also their 2 day total.
They worked hard all weekend an never gave up.

We will post final standings once they are released.

Day1 results for the Louisiana High School Bass Nation State Championship:

Brayden Landry and Branson Word
2 fish for 4.42 lbs. (sitting in 18th place)
Their big fish weighed 3.28 lbs which is currently 1st place Big Bass for this tournament!

Did not manage to catch any keeper fish today. Tomorrow will be a better day.

7+ pounds is leading day one, so there is still hope for our two teams.

Well the time has come for our last high school tournament ever for both of our HS teams. All 4 of our EHS anglers are Seniors this year.
We will be competing on the Calcasieu River in Moss Bluff, LA for the Louisiana High School Bass Fishing State Championship.
This will be a two day event where the total weight combined from day 1 and day 2 will determine the place of our teams. (5/4 Saturday and 5/5 Sunday)

We were going to eliminate having qualified high school teams register for the state championship this year but because we aren't sure who the captain will be for each team, we will need everyone to go ahead and fill out a form.

For teams that have already qualified, we'd like you to complete your form by this Friday, April 19th.

For the teams that will qualify at Doiron's, we need your entry form completed by 4/24/2024

Today Bradley and Phillip competed in the LHSBN Henderson Swamp Qualifier.
Bradley and Phillip have previously qualified to fish the LHSBN State Championship.
They managed to bring 2 fish to the scales for 3.70 lbs.
