This sure was a hot one folks! Watch this 40 Lap main event from the North Vs. South Challenge for the Star Speedway Bumpy's Auto Slingshots and the Oxford Plains Speedway Mad Bombers! Ryan would start this one shotgun on the field and battle with an ill handling car as he would keep an eye on the water temperature gauge throughout this one! Both Ryan and Penny the #57 Slingshot would not like the heat during the day this past Sunday. A caution with about 15 laps remaining would rerack the field with Ryan restarting 8th and allowing the car to cool a bit for what would be a 15 lap dash to the finish! Taking advantage of an open lane during the first lap back to green, Ryan would drive up to 5th and maintain there through when he would drive under the checkers. Not before a battle started for 4th in the last 5 or so laps, Ryan just didn't have enough to turn under the 4th place car to sneak up another spot. There won't be a heat race video for this event as a camera malfunction caused by the heat kept the camera from working properly. However, after utilizing an newer more open camera case that allows more air flow to the camera, it would work and get the job done (with much nicer clean audio) for the 40 lap scorching feature race. Make sure to take a listen!

Last night, Ryan got Penny unloaded and backed into the shop to be ready to get back to work in preparation for this weekend’s race back at Star Speedway.
