Solid day grabbing more notes for the Oxford notebook, and without damage. Call that a good day.

Back in the shop tomorrow to start the swap and put everything back for Star Classic Friday!🤘🏻🏁

In a not well so kept secret that we just haven’t outwardly stated until now, we are heading to Oxford Plains tomorrow to run with the Mad Bombers. Penny is all fixed up and the pertinent stuff swapped over to run up off Route 26. She’s all tucked in on the trailer and awaiting to shove off early tomorrow morning.

Star Speedway returns to action this Saturday at 4:30PM for a full night of short track racing, with a general admission special of 2 for $25 for adults!

All set up for a Touch A Truck event we have been invited to attend at Growing Learners Child Care Center in South Portland.

Ryan has been working the night shift the last couple weeks and finally got a morning that he felt froggy and decided to tie up some loose ends with Penny this morning.🪢🧰

Finally getting a chance to get their logo on the car, our newest supporting advertising partner, 207 Hardscapes , gets their vinyl decal placed in their spot on the #57 machine this morning!🪧

We will be attacking this next coming race for us at Star Speedway a little differently with Penny as far as at the shop. Only one small adjustment in preparation for the next one and then putting her away under cover and letting her rest until race day. We feel we are pretty damn close and do not want to over adjust or over think what we bring back for the next Bumpy's Auto Slingshot race day. Keepin’ it simple this time!🤞🏻

Ryan will have this weekend off from behind the wheel to reset and focus in on the last 4 races of the points season at The Place to Race. Currently sitting 6th in points and looking to defend that spot and do what we can to maybe sneak into the top 5.😈🏁

Rolling in from an off weekend, here we have the Bumpy's Auto Slingsh*t 25 Lap Feature for 8/15/26! Ride along with Ryan in the #57 entry as he starts this one in the 3rd spot and battle right from the start. After claiming the runner up spot, Ryan would set his sights on tracking down the leader and would do so while holding off some stout compitition knocking at the door. Ultimately, Ryan would make an error behind the wheel on the entry of turn 1 and would shuffle himself up the track and leave the bottom groove while open for 3rd on back to take advantage. Ryan would get shuffled to the rear of the 10 car field before he could get back down and into a rythem and try to work his way back forward. After a great battle with the #96, he would move up to 9th and then have a bunch of track ahead of him to 8th. Ryan would take a massive chunk out of the gap to 8th ahead of him in the last 9 laps of the feature, but the distance would prove to be too much to overcome without the assitance of a caution, which would never fly. Still, a great day at the track for the team as the car was great in the 25 lap main event. A SOLID stepping stone back in the right direction, as Ryan would run the same or just shy of the same lap times as the leaders and the eventual winner of this one in the closing laps. Wicked progress over the last month or so!

Updated picture of this year’s Checker Board on the rear deck lid of the #57!🏁👀

These checker board square sales have been a MASSIVE help every year we have done them! They help supplement the in-between costs of our advertising partners and the “out of pocket” expenses. Helping with the small costs of the “random small stuff” that pops up throughout the season and even help with oil changes and fuel costs.

Currently, more so than the team has been ever, we are at the point with our racing funds that we are VERY much one race at a time rolling into our last 5 points races at Star Speedway. Very unfortunate considering Ryan and team are having the best season of his 6 season career, currently 6th in points.

If you would like to help the team make it to the track and finish the 2026 season strong, get ahold of us here and snag up one of these squares. Less than the cost of coffees on your way to work for the week at only $25 each. Squares are customizable with what you can have them say (within reason of course, PG-13).
