Washington Racquetball Association - WRA The Washington Racquetball Association is the official state affiliate of USA Racquetball. Become a WRA member today! Yearly USAR/WRA membership fee is $60.00.

As a state affiliate, the WRA is chartered with promoting racquetball in our state. These dues are distributed between the USAR and WRA. Membership brings with it many benefits, including:

You'll receive an official membership card. You'll receive your own copy of the official USAR"Rules of Play" (online). You will be eligible to play in sanctioned tournaments. Second

ary accident insurance (see USAR website for details). When you play in sanctioned events, your results will be included in USAR rankings. You will have access to instructor, coach and referee certification programs. You will have access to Elite Training opportunities. WRA Benefits:

We are only 1️⃣1️⃣ hours away from the 2026 WRA Annual Picnic / Outdoor RB gathering this Saturday. The weather looks to be about 63° - 73° Farenhight between 9am-1pm tomorrow.

For those outdoor racquetball regulars feel free to tell your friends that only play indoor to come out to get some Vitamin D. If you’ve never played outdoor before this is a perfect event to try it out and you won’t be alone. Typically we do one match to 15 points with the 4 players (2 doubles teams) before rotating 4 new players in.

🚨Don’t forget to bring your lawn chairs so you have a place to sit down during your matches and while you eat the free food.🪑

🅿️🚗 Parking is very limited and does fill up so try to be early if you can. If the main lot fills up try the “West Hill Skate Park” before trying at the Trinity Church. If you can carpool do it since the parking lots both will fill up quickly in the morning.

🗳️WRA Board Nominations Are Now Open 🗳️

The Washington Racquetball Association is now soliciting nominations for Board positions that will start Sept 1st, 2026 and nominations will go for the next 30 days.

Positions open for election this cycle (term starting sept 1, 2026):
• Treasurer
• Director of Fundraising
• Director of Junior Development
• Director of Media

If you or someone you know would be a great fit to help support and grow racquetball in Washington, we encourage you to submit a nomination. Serving on the WRA Board is a great way to give back to the sport, support local programs and events, and help shape the future of racquetball in our state.

The Washington Racquetball community are saddened to hear of the passing of a member of our community on January 30, 2026. Elliott T Crosby was a former WRA Board member who served in various board capacities including tournament oversight and promotion. He was a constant source of energy and enthusiasm for the game of racquetball for many years and always willing to help where needed.

He will be greatly missed 🙏
