The Crystal Mountain community is heartbroken by the loss of Robin Pendery, 33, a former ski patroller and beloved member of the Pacific Northwest mountain community. Our heart goes out to her family, friends, fellow patrollers and all those whose lives she touched.

7.9 miles. 2,614 feet of elevation gain. And a seriously good time. 🫨

returns to Crystal Mountain on September 19! Start at the base and rally up Kelly’s Gap before climbing through Green Valley to Grubstake at 6,861 feet (the peak). Take in summit views of Mt. Rainier and the Cascades, then drop into steep, technical terrain, winding trials through alpine lakes, and finish back at base.

Summertime scenics dropping in to remind you that we’re less then one week away from opening for summer operations 🥳

We’ll be open Friday-Sunday until we switch to 7-days a week, June 26. Weekend only rundown:

☕ Brew62: 9:00am-5:00pm
🚠Scenic Gondola: 10:00am-5:00pm
🍽️ Summit House: 10:00am-4:00pm
🌲 Flying Raven: 9:30am-5:30pm
🧗 Climbing Wall: 9:30am-5:30pm

The trails are melting out still, if you choose to adventure out just make sure to be prepared for obstacles or snow in some areas!

Anddd just like that, we’re back to summer mode! The mountain is melting out, the Crystal Crew is back on hill, and it feels real good to be gearing up for another summer season. We’ve been getting everything ready for summer ops starting May 22, and we can’t wait to have everyone back up here 😎

Choose from a 5K Hill Climb, 10K, Half Marathon OR go all in with the Mountain Goat Triple or Sasquatch Double. Run through our rugged ridgelines with wildflowers, alpine air and the surrounding Cascades as your backdrop throughout the entire run!

More alpine time starts May 22! Dust off the hiking boots and catch the mountain after the winter coat has shed. Weekend summer operations will kick off with scenic gondola rides, Summit House lunches, Flying Raven adventure course challenges, nightly RV stays, and plenty more. That’s a wrap folks 💙

Thank you to everyone who closed out the season with us this weekend, it was unforgettable. From the Mt.Rainier Berm Brawl, Green Valley laps and the mountain top après back to back. It was a closing weekend to remember.
