Another tournament weekend in the books! 💜💚⚾️

The weekend may not have ended the way we hoped, but this was such a great group of boys. With several new faces joining us, it was awesome to see how quickly they gelled, supported one another, and just enjoyed playing baseball together.

First 11U tournament in the books! 💜💚⚾️

It wasn’t the outcome we had hoped for, but there was a lot to be proud of. These boys jived well, worked hard, battled until the very end, and left it all out on the field.

New age group, new challenges, and plenty of learning opportunities. We’ll take what we learned, keep putting in the work, and come back stronger.

Proud of these kiddos, especially those who were new to this, for stepping outside their comfort zones yesterday! 💚💜

Yesterday was about more than fundraising. It was about building confidence, and growing both on and off the field. I’m so proud of the way these boys represented the Swamp Donkeys with great attitudes and a willingness to help.

Special shout-outs to:
🎨 Cam for his artistic skills.
🪧 Sawyer for his awesome poster.
💪 Ashton for stepping outside his comfort zone.
😄 Our big boys for putting their charm and smiles to good use.
👏 And Jackson for coming only $18.77 short from guessing our fundraising amount!

A heartfelt thank you to the Vietnam veteran and former Minor League baseball player for his generous donation and for sharing his story with the boys. Thank you also to the kind lady who donated and surprised them with juice boxes!

Thank you to everyone who supported these boys yesterday. We appreciate you all and can’t wait for more opportunities to grow together.
