Cole's ATA Taekwondo

It is with great sadness that I announce that I am closing my Taekwondo school. Throughout my 39 years as a taekwondo instructor and school owner, I have been blessed to have gotten to know many wonderful people—my students, their parents, extended family members, and friends. Most of my students came from military families, which allowed opportunities for each of my students (and for me) to learn about different parts of our beautiful country.

I look back on my time as an instructor proudly. I coached many students to become black belts, but more importantly, I have been able to witness their achievements outside of the studio as well. Many have gone on to become upstanding members of our community, military members, and professionals. I like to believe that this is in part due to the values they learned in the studio— integrity, perseverance, self-control, indomitable spirit, courtesy, discipline, and respect.

I am forever grateful for the wonderful memories and friendships that will last me a lifetime. I hope that this will not be goodbye forever, and that our paths will cross again. Thank you, taekwondo family, for a wonderful 39 years!

BENEFITS OF BEING ACTIVE

When kids are active, their bodies can do the things they want and need them to do. why? Because regular exercise provides these benefits:

- Strong muscles and bones
- Healthy weight
- Decreased risk of developing type 2 diabetes
- Better sleep
- A better outlook of life

Physically active kids also are more likely to be motivated, focused, and successful in school. Mastering physical skills builds confidence at every age.

Cole’s ATA hopes everyone is enjoying Mother’s Day today. This martial arts school is all about values. This holiday gives everyone a wonderful opportunity to stop everything and put all the attention to all the mothers out there. Many mothers are actively involved with their children’s lives into adulthood as they will always need guidance from their parents. Don’t forget to thank our Mothers, Grandmothers, Aunts, Sisters and other women in our lives that care for us and love ❤️ us unconditionally!
