Had some clutch hitting and pitching today. Kids played hard and came out USSSA Zombie vs Supper Heroes champions.

Had a blast at the Avengers Christmas party. Played dodgeball, wiffle ball, and football. Can’t wait to start back playing baseball.

Great weekend of baseball for the Avengers 10u. Bats were 🔥. Hit almost.600 for the weekend. .750 OBP With only 4 strikeouts. Kids played hard. They got to add another ring to the collection. Brought home first place.

After finding out that one of our umpires actually played AAA for the Braves, we asked him to talk to the kids after the game. He gave them his back story and shared some advice with them and finished up with a little Q and A. He is currently rehabbing an injury. Kids were extremely excited to talk to him and hear all the players he has played with. (pretty much the whole current Braves team)

Kids played great today in a long hot day of baseball. But in 4 games they scored 64 runs today. Really hit the ball hard all day. Took home 1st in Opp. Love watching these kids compete.

With the 2020 Summer travel ball season coming to an end, the Avengers Family would like to use the closing weeks to recognize the players on our 9U team.

This weeks player spotlight is on Ryles "Smiles" Love. Ryles may be the youngest player on the team but you would never know it from watching him play! Ryles is an 8 yr old playing up with the 9U's. Ryles plays Catcher, arguably the toughest position on the field and he locks it down like a champ! He's a VERY hard worker and that hard work has paid off as he has thrown out numerous base runners this Spring/Summer and his blocking game continues to improve. Keep working hard Ryles! We love you bud!

A great weekend for the 8U!
