Dear Dustin,
I have so much to thank you for — as a fan, as a friend, and as someone inspired by your journey. Thank you for the memories I’ll never forget… for the trips around the world, the countless reasons to laugh, smile, and cry. Thank you for the experiences, the relationships, and the people I’ve met because of you.
You’ve set an incredible example — as a father, a friend, a fighter, and a husband. You started as a kid chasing a dream, and along the way, you helped others like me chase ours too.
I have so much respect for the way you’ve carried yourself through the highs and lows. You handle victory and defeat with the same grace, humility, and heart. What you’ve done for your community, your family, and those around you has set a bar we can all strive for.
Through it all, you’ve always managed to shine brighter than any win or loss.
The entire world — especially your family, friends, and team — is proud of you. But I can say with 100% certainty that I am proud of you.
This life you’ve built was earned through nothing but hard work, heart, and determination. No one deserves it more.

It’s been an epic week in Vegas!

made her mark across the combat sports world, solidifying herself as one of biggest stars. The week was capped off by my brother delivering one of the greatest spinning wheel kick KOs in UFC history.
•
Unfortunately, was robbed of what should have been a clear 30-27 unanimous decision victory. Like the commentary team and most others I’ve spoken to, I thought Francis dominated every aspect of the fight against a tough, up-and-coming prospect in his opponent’s adopted hometown. I’m not sure what fight two of the three judges were watching. Regardless, he’s back to work—because that’s what true professionals do.

Always a pleasure working with such talented fighters and great people. Also had time for Pookie’s first Vegas experience while waiting for to arrive for his heavyweight debut—this is one you don’t want to miss!

Despite all the set backs experienced this camp, remains the true professional that he is. Between opponents dodging the fight (honestly, who would want to face him?) to visa and travel issues, it’s been a tough 6+ months trying to lock down a fight. But the day has finally come. Ruffy is a prime example of a REAL fighter— ready to step in at any place, any time, at any weight. 😤

Just days before weigh-ins, we learned our opponent would struggle to make weight and requested a catchweight close to 10lbs heavier than the originally agreed upon weight. Ruffy, always on point, was prepared to make 156 effectively, but never once hesitated to take the fight. Despite the extra 10lb allowance, our opponent STILL missed weight. But Ruffy? Never flinched. Never wavered. His focus and mentality stayed rock solid. 🧠

The Fighting Nerds are on a tear, and Mauricio’s ready to keep the streak alive with a dominant performance. Obrigado to Mauricio and the team( ) for bringing me in as family, and a huge thanks to and his team for opening the doors to their beautiful facility with open arms. Quick trip to Niagara Falls to welcome back to the welterweight division in the best way possible. He’s been “dieting” for months, even before this opportunity came about. His consistency and dedication to the plan made it a smooth transition back down to the weight class where he’s undefeated. Thanks to he’s been at or near his maintenance intake for months leading up to the fight with just a slight deficit being applied a week before fight week. The added calories helped keep nagging injuries and sickness to a minimum, while and her team provided 🔥 meals, making the process enjoyable.

When fighters brag about drastic weight cuts, I’m rarely ever impressed by the extreme measures some put themselves through before a fight. I’ve been blessed to witness some historic moments, both amazing and challenging. But, this moment deserves special mention.
•
Tomorrow night, two of my guys, Yann and Carlos, are each moving UP a division to challenge for the Combat FC middleweight and bantamweight championship and for their rights to claim Champ-Champ status as main and co-main event of the night. They didn’t make excuses like “I’m too small” or “those guys are huge.” Instead, they committed physically, mentally, and nutritionally for months with an emphasis on fueling to perform rather than paying mind to any weight related objectives. The added calories allowed them to push their physical limits and maintain a higher workload, not only setting them up for a great performances tomorrow night, but also towards a solid foundation they’ll bank for future fights.

I wanted to share this as inspiration, especially for young fighters, amidst all the negativity surrounding weight cuts in the sport. “WhaTeVEr, whENEveR, WHerEvEr.” They don’t just talk about it. They BE about it.
