The S3DA is an after-school archery program focusing on 3-D, indoor target, outdoor target archery.

Henry County Archers held an outdoor regional Saturday. Wiregrass Archers-S3DA had 4 shooters and man did they do well. A perfect example of how hardwork pays off. Ryleigh place first in female young adult open . Owen place first in youth male open . Weston got first in Eagle male pins,and Hugo took second with a personal best score in outdoor. I’m very proud of you guys great shooting. Thanks to Henry County Achers for holding a great shoot. Thanks to David Owens and Wiregrass Outdoors for all there support.

Well we are at the last leg of S3DA archery competition. Pine forest Archery club hosted the first Outdoor competition Saturday. Wiregrass Archers had 4 shooters shoot and as always these kids shot well. Ryleigh got first in Young Adult female open Owen got second in youth male open, Weston placed first in Eagle male pins and Hugo got forth in Eagle male pins Awesome job guys your hard work is really paying off. We want to thank Pine Forest Achery Club for hosting the event and David Owens and Wiregrass Outdoors for all there support.:

Henry County Archers held the final 3D shoot of the year, the Alabama state tournament, on Saturday. The course was very tough. Wiregrass Archers-S3DA had 7 shooters, and they did an awesome job. Weston and Jaxon got 1st and 3rd in Eagle male pins. Harley placed 2nd in Youth female pins. Owen placed 2nd in Youth male open. Ryleigh placed 1st in Young Adult Female open. Along with some scholarships, everybody shot great today. We had some great lessons learned, showing they had what it takes to overcome adversity and come back fighting. I’m super proud of all of you guys this year. On to the final competitions, we start outdoor next week. Thanks to Henry County Archers for putting on a great shoot, as always, and thanks to David Owens and Wiregrass Outdoors for all there support.

Archery Connections held there first s3da regional Saturday and it was an awesome shoot. The kids made some lifelong memories got great archery advise and met some celebrities. The shoot was hosted by Mike Waddell and T-bone Outdoors with Travis Turner. Unfortunately I wasn’t able to make it but we had 4 Wiregrass Archers-S3DA that did and they represented well. Weston got first and Hugo got second in male Eagle pins. Owen got second in Youth male open and Ryleigh got first in young adult female open. Great shooting by all.thanks to Chuck Raymer and Archery Connection for putting on an awesome shoot. Thanks to David Owensand Wiregrass Outdoors there support.

Henry County Archerys held a 3d regional on Saturday. Wiregrass Archers had 6 shooters show up up for the shoot and they did awesome 5 first and one forth. Rylie placed first in young adult open female, Colton first in young adult male pins Harley first in youth female pins Owen first youth male open Jackson first in Eagle male pins and Hugo forth in Eagle male pins. We want to think Henry County Achers for hosting a great shoot and David Owens and Wiregrass Outdoors for there support.

We had 2 shooters shoot the world class Archer shoot Saturday. And they represented Wiregrass Archers-S3DA well Weston Basset placed first and Hugo Seigal 11 placed 2nd both in Eagle male pins . This is the first yr shooting 3D for both f them. Great job guys . Thanks to World ACHERY of Atmore al for putting on the shoot. And a big thanks to Wiregrass Outdoors and David Owens for there support.

I wasn’t able to attend but Wiregrass Archers-S3DA had 3 shoot in the Henry County Archers regional 3d shoot. All did an awesome job Weston Basset shot in his first ever 3d shoot in Eagle class and shot a 196 taking first place. Owen DelAvia in youth Open class took Second and Ryleigh Styles placed first in female young adult open. Awesome job guys . Thanks to David Owens at Wiregrass Outdoors for his support. And thanks to Henry County Archers for hosting a great shoot.

Wiregrass Archers-S3DA and Wiregrass Outdoors hosted the S3DA state championship on a remarkably cold Saturday. I am very proud of all the teams that pushed through the frigid temperatures to deliver impressive scores. Wiregrass Archers had 7 shooters who participated in the event; all did awesome job this indoor season. Bennett Mitchell secured 1st place in Eagle pins and also achieved the overall high scorer for the season in his class. Harley Schlieger earned 2nd place in female youth pins. Colton Bichsel won 1st place in youth male pins and also received high scorer for the season in 20-yard pins. Owen DeAvila secured 2nd place in youth male open, and Ryleigh Styles took 1st place in young adult female open, resulting in scholarship awards as well. I am super proud of this talented group; all are developing into exceptional archers. We want to thank David Owens and Wiregrass Outdoors for their invaluable support.
