Hello followers of Blomberg Motorsports page. Sorry we haven't made any updates in a good while.
We finished out the 2025 season very well with appearance at Jegs All Stars, raced a divisional race as well as participated in the Stampede of Speed at Texas Fall nationals.
Our top Sportsman ride ended up finishing fourth in the division, and the dragster with Tessa as driver, finished out the year solidly mid pack.
Our 2026 Season has started, and we have had some setbacks. At the last race our top Sportsman ride lost traction and made contact with the retaining wall. Hey is all part of racing and it can happen. This ended our participation in the opening weekend races.... it was a bummer but we will recover.
Tessa in her dragster was in the elimination rounds when her engine called it quits. We had a parts failure in the cam and valve train area when a roller lifter went to heaven. Without enough time to repair, we loaded up our equipment and made a plan to fix our broken rides.
The body work on the Firebird is well under way, and will be as good as new. We have no engine or drive train issues in this car as we know of.
The dragster engine is apart and getting freshened up. Maybe the lifter failure was a blessing in disguise as when we pulled the engine completely apart, we discovered a cracked piston. If that part had failed during a run, it would have been a catastrophic outcome. We will get our equipment back in good shape and head to the next event, whenever we are ready. Its just to do it !
