Dowson Motorsports Small, family owned and operated motorsports team based in Auburn, IL. Driver Denny Dowson races predominately Top Sportsman and Quick Races.

He has been involved with motorsports since he was old enough to drive. For Dowson Motorsports, it has always been "Mopar or No Car". After 25+ years of Bracket Racing various vehicles, the team moved up the ranks to license in Top Sportsman in 2018. In 2019, the team raced in multiple Divisional races and qualified to run in their first National event-the 50th Annual Gatornationals. In the team's

rookie season, they suffered only one first-round loss and in Brainerd, made it to their first semi-finals. At the Jegs Super Quick race in Gateway, they were awarded the Best Appearing/Engineering Award. Racing at this level is a family effort and Denny is assisted by his wife Sharon and son Dakota. Due to multiple cancellations and scheduling conflicts, the team didn't race in 2020. This page will be used to keep family, friends, and fans updated on the race schedule and results.

Oh boy did we have a great day! The car was consistent and the driver did a great job. We came up just a little short in the semifinals-margin of victory was 0.006

We start the 2nd divisional race tomorrow along with the Equalizer Hitch Shootout-which we are part of also

Our US National came to an end tonight in E3. The car slowed down and we didn’t dial the right number. Denny did an incredible job driving this race-his worst light was 0.024 and the best was 0.004.

We have a few weeks off and then we race the double divisional at Gateway September 25-28.
