Sandhyā is a Sanskrit word that refers to a threshold, a transitional moment between one state into another. Sunrise and sunset are sandhyās. The pause between inhale and exhale. Seasonal shifts. The solstice itself is a sandhyā.
When we chose this name for the studio, it came from a deep respect for the transformative nature of moments of transition: the spaces where reflection, practice, community, and change all meet.
