Happy Malley Monday! There are many events and programs coming up at the Malley Recreation Center this week and beyond.
🦮 The Seeing Eye - Learn About Guide Dogs
On August 6 from 4:30 - 6 p.m., join us to learn all about Seeing Eye dogs! This presentation will cover the rigorous breeding, training and matching process of the dogs along with the causes of blindness that can occur at different stages of people's lives. An ice cream social will follow this event!
🏠 Your Voice Your Neighborhood: A Conversation About Housing in Englewood
Englewood is a community where people want to put down roots and age well, and the city is actively working to make sure that's possible for everyone. A lot is changing in housing across Colorado, and it's not always easy to know what it means for Englewood or for you. Join the conversation on August 12 at 2 p.m. and discover what the city is doing and where we're headed.
🎤 Elvis Remembrance Party
Put on your blue suede shoes for a rockin' good time with Shelvis! Join us August 14 from 2:30 - 4 p.m. for an afternoon of dancing, singing and remembering Elvis. Shelvis is a powerhouse performer with more than 10 years of experience rocking the Colorado musti scene. It is $8 for residents and $10 for non-residents. Register at englewoodco.gov/malley-events
