I enjoy coaching in unusual environments. Pre-pandemic, I would often meet clients at outdoor cafes or for long walks somewhere beautiful. While I’m not prepared to fully embrace the old ways yet, today this fully vaccinated executive coach is meeting a fully vaccinated client I haven’t seen in 15 months for a long walking session along the river in Golden. Just the thought of it makes my day!

It's amazing how well the whole work-from-anywhere thing has worked out for most of us. I've been a WFA advocate for years. Still, there are times the same four walls just aren't inspiring. So, I find myself at my office on South Broadway looking at a different set of four walls and feeling a bit more inspired.

However, what I really crave is a patio filled with people, a tall strong coffee drink, and the accumulated energy of a bunch of folks gathering for the same reason.

My wish, and my intent, is that I can do this at my favorite Denver coffeehouse, Stellas Coffee, before this year is out.

I had neck surgery five weeks ago. This has limited my activities and this time has proven to be a blessing. It has given me time to think.
