Biggest thing I here from guys who don’t train. Injuries shouldn’t completely stop training whatsoever, but leads to a weak, detrained, and de-conditioned individual who wonders why they either 1) Get hurt again or 2) take an absurd amount of time to get back.

Injuries happen to every athlete. From small aches & pains to those more serious - injuries are a part of the game when you push your body to the max. How you deal with those injuries makes all the difference in the long run.🥊
Option 1: push through the injury & ignore the pain. This often leads you down the path of even more disabling problems, kills your performance & cuts your career short.❌
Option 2: our current medical system of “stop training, take these meds” & follow the advice of a rehab professional that doesn’t understand your ambitions and treats you like a 80 year old grandpa with simple exercises laying on a bed...🤦🏼♂️
Option 3: you find a good rehab professional that understands your goals. They perform a thorough evaluation & explain exactly what you need to take away & implement in the short term to help you get back to your long term goals. This is a mix of science & art to help you succeed.🏋🏼♀️
Takeaway: don’t be a tough guy and push through pain, but also understand that not all rehab professionals are created equal. Taking time to find a physical therapist or chiropractor when you’re injured that truly understands how to treat athletes is how you can stay moving big weights for LIFE🙌🏼
If you’ve found a good rehab professional to help you through your injuries in the past - tag them below, give them a shout out & help spread the word of those doing things the right way🥊
