Sweet little 3.375" beach find today. Hopefully a sign of things to come since we're getting ready to kick off the 2025 dive season. Hurricane season did a number on the gulf visibility this past fall and conditions have been crap since September.

Had a really nice morning on the beach today. Best find was this 4 1/8" meg. It's tumbled up pretty good as is to be expected from a beach tooth, but it's got a pretty decent amount of enamel left on one side. Had a pretty good low tide early and found it in 2' of water.

Good morning from the beach!

I guess there's a benefit to the rough surf conditions we've had over the past few weeks. It flattened out and cleared up yesterday. Apparently the tooth gods uncovered some of it's treasures during the turbulence. Friday I got a few hundred teeth and scooped the smaller brown meg out of the shell line. Went back today, found a spot I liked and within a half hour I was able to find the other 4 megs snorkeling in about 5 feet of water. It was like hitting the lotto. The tooth with the hole is the first I've found where the hole went all the way through the tooth. I love where I live!!
