Here's a fun game, anyone want to tell me what creature swam by my boat? For reference that's my side scan while I'm sitting at anchor on a reef in the gulf of Mexico. Whatever it was swam past my boat against the current, and as for size when I spot dolphin or large tarpon on this screen, they are about half the size of whatever this was.

When you want big fish, you get big fish, may not have been the target species but this HOSS of a was still a fun catch! Made lots of memories today checking out local history, catching big fish, and even had some dolphin friends come play with us and talk to us boat side!

Trey and the boys wrangled a today! For those who don't know, the grand slam is a , , , and a all in one trip. Not an easy feat to accomplish by any stretch of the imagination! It takes knowledge, skill, anglers on the rod who can follow directions and fight the fish properly, and above all else a little luck. Today we had all those things on our side and got it done! These guys fought these fish like pros and we have the picture proof! We had a bunch of good snook, multiple slot sized trout, a fun size tarpon, and ended the trip with a couple over slot reds.
