Huge shoutout to Austin Irwin competing at Freestyle Nationals in Tahoe! 🙌

He went up against 70 athletes today from across the country and had an incredible performance—finishing 47th overall and qualifying for Dual Moguls on Sunday!

Great end of year wrap up! Thank you to Whaleback, all the families, the volunteers, the coaches, the board and most importantly the athletes! It's been an amazing season and together we made it happen. Looking forward to next season. Ski you next year!!

It was a great 1st Annual Dybvig Dual event yesterday!! From our minicore & devo athletes up to parents, core team alumni and coaches; it was fun for all! Hope to continue this tradition in the years to come!

Core Team Alumni Spotlight ⭐Heading to the US Championships!

Austin Irwin started skiing with the Whaleback Core Team at just 5 years old. Now at 16, he’s heading to the Toyota U.S. Mogul Freestyle Championships in Tahoe Palisades, CA later this month!

After progressing through the Core Team, Austin moved on to Waterville Valley Academy two years ago to pursue competitive freestyle skiing while balancing school and training.

This season he’s been on the podium multiple times and has earned an invitation to compete as one of the top 30 junior mogul skiers in the U.S. at this event. We couldn’t be more proud of Austin and all the hard work he’s put in over the years.
