Triple Cities Runners Club (TCRC) promotes and supports running in Binghamton, NY Area. Joining the TCRC is easy, inexpensive, and loaded with benefits.

The purpose and goal of TCRC is to promote and support all avenues of running in our local area, and be a driving force in helping our running community to be united, strong, and continue to grow. We welcome runners of ALL abilities, whether you are a competitive racer, run for fitness, seasoned veteran, or just beginning; we are here to support everyone. As a member of TCRC, you will be part of t

hat community, help support the club's efforts, and enjoy the camaraderie of other club members and local runners, group runs, workouts, races, special events, and more! As a member, you’ll enjoy:

• Support and encouragement for your running, whether you’re competitive, recreational, or somewhere in between

🏃‍♂️ VOLUNTEERS NEEDED + REGISTRATION DEADLINE REMINDER! 🏃‍♀️

The Vestal XX Road Race is almost here, and we need your help to make race day a success!

🚨 VOLUNTEERS STILL NEEDED! 🚨
We’re looking for volunteers to assist with:
💧 Water stations
🚦 Course intersections and runner guidance

Volunteering is a great way to support the local running community, and all volunteers will receive a free volunteer shirt as a thank-you for their time!

The last day for online registration is Tuesday June 16th by midnight!

🏃 20K Individual
🏃‍♀️ 20K Relay (2 runners, 10K each)

There will be Race day registration, with an increased cost of $35 for the 20K and $30 per person for the relay.

The 2026 TCRC Track Meets will begin on Wednesday, July 8th, and continue weekly on Wednesdays through August 12th.

NOTE THE NEW LOCATION:

The meets will be on the track at Vestal High School, Dick Hoover Stadium 205 Woodlawn Dr, Vestal, NY 13850, unless otherwise announced.

Regular events are; one mile, 800 meters, 400 meters, and two-mile on the track.

We also plan to have a 5000m Track Event on August 5th, which will be the only event ran that night.

All ages and all abilities are welcome.

Registration starts at 5:30, and the events start promptly at 6:00. Participation is free for all TCRC members; all non-members are welcome and will just need to sign a waiver and pay a $5 fee for the season (or join the TCRC).

Meet Dates are: 7/8, 7/15, 7/22, 7/29, 8/5, 8/12

Our friends at the Owego Strawberry Festival 5k!
Wanted us to remind you that their races is on June 18th!

Celebrate the 44th Owego Strawberry Festival with a 5K Run/Walk!

The Strawberry Festival Rock and Run 5K is Thursday night, June 18, 2026 at the Hickories Park in Owego.

4:30 - Bib pick up opens, Kid's Run Registration-location at the bandstand area.

5:15 - Kid's Fun Run - all kid, 12 and under, must register with a parent.

All 5K participants that sign up will receive the annual 2026 Strawberry Festival Run Medal!

And hey maybe run this as a shake out run before running the Vestal XX on June 20th!

🏃‍♀️ Did you know one of the most influential runners in history raced right here in Vestal?

Just four years after becoming the first woman to officially run the Boston Marathon, Kathrine Switzer came to Vestal in 1971 to compete in the very first Vestal 20K Road Race.

At the time, women were still fighting for the right to compete in distance running events. Kathrine helped change that forever.

Nineteen years later, she returned to run our 20th Annual race. By then, dozens of women were competing alongside her—a powerful reminder of how far the sport had come.

On June 20th, we'll continue a tradition that has been part of our community for more than 50 years. Be A Part of the Legacy!

Whether you're chasing a PR, running your first 20K, or simply want to be part of a race with incredible history, we'd love to have you join us.

Our Friends at Pawfest wanted us to remind you that their T-Shirt Deadline is May 15th and their price increases at the end of the month!

Never heard of Pawfest? PawFest includes a 5K race, dog run/walk and pet festival. The event features live music, food trucks, vendors, a pup pageant, and a variety of activities for you, your family and your dogs. All benefitting Team HopeFull: Fulfilling the Lives of People with Prader-Willi Syndrome and other Developmental Disabilities and supporting Pawlandias where our special needs are to make your dog feel special.

Check on this post from our Friends at GiGi's Playhouse!

GiGi's Playhouse Southern Tier NY 5K is this Saturday! If you missed registration, no worries! You can register starting at 7.30 at Otsiningo Park on race day OR you can swing by Factory by Beer Tree Brew on Thursday where we will be holding packet pick up and registration. We have a few extra shirts on hand as well so if you want a race shirt, Thursday is your best bet!

TCRC will also have a table on Race Day! Stop by and talk to us about the club!
