Customer Service Policies and Disclaimers
Emporium Outdoors, LLC (EOLLC) strives to provide our valued customers with superior firearms, parts, accessories and services. We want every experience you have in dealing with us to be pleasant and rewarding as we take great pride in how
we deliver our services. EOLLC expressly disclaims liability for any and all incidental or consequential damages. As provided for below, we do not offer any written or implied warranty on items purchased or firearms serviced and expressly disclaim any implied warranty of merchantability or fitness of use for any particular purpose. In order to ensure your satisfaction with my service, I have outlined most of my business practices below:
All Federal and Commonwealth of Pennsylvania laws and statues will be obeyed by both parties, no exceptions. Safety: No loaded firearms are allowed in my shop, parking area, or property. Do not bring any tools to my shop. No assembly, disassembly, repair, or work of any kind may be performed by any customer on my property. Concealed and open carry are permitted but all loaded handguns must remain holstered at ALL times. Thank You for your cooperation. IF YOU HAVE A GUN YOU CAN NOT UN-LOAD CALL ME FOR INSTRUCTIONS! Prices are subject to change until final order placed. I’m responsible for typographic errors nor responsible for loss or damage caused by shipping carriers. New firearms and accessories: In order to offer the lowest price possible, the following policies must be adhered to. All orders are final. No picking or selecting is allowed. All new gun orders are as is, factory new condition. No items originally included with the firearm from the manufacture are withheld or removed. Damage claims are with the manufacture only. Warranty service is provided by the manufacture only. Buyer is responsible for all warranty shipping charges. Any new firearm ordered and refused by the customer, is subject to a 15% restocking fee to be paid by the customer. Price quotes reflect a cash discount that cannot be obtained with a credit card purchase. Quotes do not include sales tax, credit card fee, or shipping (if shipping is required). All orders require prepayment. Undisclosed or undiscovered damage or missing parts: I am not responsible for undisclosed or undiscovered damages of your firearm or missing parts as delivered. I will notify you upon discovery and give you the option of repairing these damages at your cost if repair is possible or replacing missing parts at your cost, if they are available. Cutting, milling, turning and drilling: While I am responsible for my workmanship, I am not responsible for cracking, chipping, splitting to the material or the material finish, either hidden or not, due to the quality of the material. Every effort is made to avoid these problems. I will try to repair damage that results from cutting or drilling of the defective material, at your expense, but do not guarantee that the results will be like new. Damage or loss of firearm caused by me or while in my possession: I will repair, replace, or reimburse at my discretion and at my expense. This does not include damage caused by shipping carriers. This does not include damage beyond my control. FFL Transfers: If you are denied possession by the ATF, FBI, Commonwealth of Pennsylvania, etc. return shipping costs, packaging, transfer fees and service fees for the firearm are your financial responsibility. Transfer of the gun to another individual is not allowed per Federal Law. Any firearm shipped to me that is on my list of non-transfers will be returned at your expense. This includes but is not limited to any AK style rifle or shotgun, SKS, or any other foreign manufactured military semi-auto, full auto, etc. Any "Saturday Night Special", "Drive by", or Throw away" guns as determined by me, will not be transferred and returned at your expense. YOU MUST VERIFY WITH ME THAT THE FIREARM IS ACCEPTABLE PRIOR TO IT BEING SHIPPED TO ME. No picking or selecting allowed. My fee must be paid to me by you regardless of your acceptance of the gun and whether or not you are denied or approved by the authorities. Any problems, damages, wrong items, shortages, inspection period, condition issues are between you and the seller or his shipping carrier. All issues must be settled by you after you take delivery and at your residence, not at my place of business. I do not guarantee I will be available at all times to sign for a delivery or at all times for you to pick up your delivery. The FBI may approve, delay, or deny your background check, please plan accordingly. Any package that show signs of outward damage will be refused and returned to sender. Turnaround time: Time estimates are by best guess, but are not guarantees of completion. Every effort will be made to complete jobs on time. There will be no charge if you pick up your gun prior to work beginning. Once work begins, time and material charges apply. Repair Service: Estimates are no guarantee of final costs; actual costs may exceed original estimate. Please allow for unknown/unseen broken parts and the complications relative to the fitting of parts. Please note that the cost of repair work is strictly based on time and materials required. It is not related to the cost of the gun and can exceed the value of the gun. I do not guarantee that every gun can be repaired or that parts are available. All work is performed to the best of my ability to return the gun to original safe operation. However, the original quality of materials and the design of the gun play a large role in its reparability, reliability and safety. The ultimate goal is safety. Guns determined by me to be unsafe to fire should be disposed of properly. Guns not picked up by customer: I will notify you by phone or email when the work is complete. If after 30 days you have not picked the gun, storage fees will be charged monthly. After 90days the gun will be sold to recover all fees. Storage fees do not apply to guns waiting for repairs to begin or guns waiting on parts to arrive. Storage fees and forced sales can be waived under dire circumstances if prior arrangements are made. Current storage fee is: $10.00 per month, per gun. Returned Check Fees: $30.00 plus any and all related bank fees, court fees, collection fees, lawyer fees, etc. I reserve the right to decline service(s) to anyone. We do maintain a list of firearms that we will not service. Please contact if you have any questions on a specific make and model. It is our policy to insure your privacy while working with EOLLC.
