Hello, Skywalkers Trampoline and Tumbling Families!

We are excited to invite all currently enrolled trampoline and tumbling athletes to participate in our 2026 Year End Fun Meet!

Saturday, November 14, 2026
Washburn Towers - 506 S. Main St., Ottawa, KS

The Fun Meet is a great opportunity for athletes to show off the skills they have learned and experience the excitement of a meet in a fun, encouraging environment. Students compete against their own personal best, not one another. All class athletes are encouraged to participate, regardless of experience level!

(Grown Up & Me athletes are not eligible to participate)

Each athlete will:
-Compete in three events
-Receive two opportunities to perform their personal best
-Take home three medals based on their top scores
-Receive a score sheet from our USA Gymnastics certified judges
Some of our competitive team athletes will also perform their routines throughout the day as they prepare for the 2027 competition season!

Registration Details
-Recreational athlete entry fee: $45
-Competitive team member entry fee: $35
-Registration deadline: October 15

Registration must be paid at the front desk by cash or check. If paying by check, please include your child’s name and “Fun Meet” in the memo. Cash payments should receive a receipt. Please note that meet registration cannot be paid through your online account.

Session Times - Athletes will be assigned to sessions based on the number of entries received. Last year, we held four sessions! A finalized schedule will be sent after registration closes so you will know exactly when your athlete needs to arrive.

A sample morning session may look like:
-Registration and open stretch: 8:45 a.m.
-Competition lineup: 9:00–9:10 a.m.
-Competition: 9:15 a.m.–approximately 11:00 a.m.

Possible later sessions may run from approximately 11:30 a.m.–1:45 p.m. and 2:45–5:00 p.m. Families should plan to arrive by their assigned lineup time and remain until the session concludes.

Spectator Admission - Admission is $5 per person at the door, payable by cash only. Children ages 12 and younger are free.
If the meet must be canceled due to inclement weather, the tentative makeup date is Saturday, November 21.

We hope your athlete will join us for a fun and energetic day celebrating everything they have accomplished this year! Please stop by the front desk to register by October 15.

🇺🇸 LABOR DAY WEEKEND CLOSING 🇺🇸

Just a reminder that Skywalkers will be CLOSED Saturday, September 5 through Monday, September 7 for Labor Day weekend!

There will be no recreational classes or team practices during this time.

🤸 Regular classes and practices will resume Tuesday, September 8.

We hope all of our Skywalkers families have a safe, relaxing, and FUN Labor Day weekend! ❤️💙

Skywalkers has some availability in the Thursday and Sunday trampoline and tumbling classes. There are a couple spots open for girls traditional gymnastics on Mondays as well! You can see our schedule from our website by clicking the parent button at the top right corner followed by let's find a class. You can see class information if you go to the Emporia page of our website and then click on the class type you're interested in.
