If you want to go through the class, get 3 people together and call/text 620-412-3977 or email [email protected] and I will get you through. I will do family groups, work groups, church groups, or whatever group you can imagine. I’m in the Emporia area. Since I have retired from education, I have more time on my hands and will be able to get people through the class practically anytime. I am going to give this new system a try instead of scheduling a monthly class. Just give me a shout and I will get it done.

I am holding a Kansas concealed carry class on Saturday, August 29th starting at 10 am.. Cost is $85 per person.

This is the KS Attorney General required course to take for obtaining a Kansas concealed carry permit. I have been instructing this course since 2011. See kansascarryconcealed.com for my personal bio and more. Gun safety and storage, Kansas self defense laws, decision making, and much more are covered in this course. After you obtain your permit, you are legally allowed to carry concealed in a majority of the United States. (see website for a list of states) You must be at least 17 1/2 years of age to attend. Call or text 620-412-3977 to enroll. Monthly classes are held and listed on my website. Groups are welcome to reserve a special date and time if mine do not work for you.

I am going to start mixing my weekend class dates up a little bit to include some Sunday classes for those who have to work on Saturday. My first Sunday class will be July 12, 2026.
