SEEING “FULL” ON OUR CLASSES? DON’T PANIC!

You may notice that almost all of our classes currently say FULL on our website, but that doesn’t mean you shouldn’t enroll! We are actively hiring + training coaches so we can open up more availability and get more of your kiddos into the gym. 🎉

If there’s a class day/time that works best for your family, add your child to the waitlist!

✨ Joining the waitlist is completely FREE
✨ As soon as a spot becomes available, we’ll contact you first to make sure you still want that class
✨ Once you confirm, we’ll officially enroll your child, tuition will be charged, and they can start attending

The waitlist also helps us know exactly where we need to add more classes and coaches, so please don’t hesitate to use it!

We are SO thankful for your support and patience and having full classes is such a good problem to have, but our goal isn’t simply to fit more kids into the gym. We want to continue making safety, quality coaching, and individual attention our priority. 💜

POV: You planned your child’s birthday party… and you actually got to enjoy it too. 🥳

Picture this:

You’re not spending the morning frantically cleaning your house, moving clutter into closets, decorating every corner, and wondering how you’re going to keep a room full of kids entertained.

You show up with the decorations, food, drinks, cake, and anything else you want to make the party feel special—and we help take care of the rest.

The kids are laughing, playing, and fully entertained while someone else supervises the fun. You’re not constantly redirecting, cleaning up spills, organizing the next activity, or checking the clock.

Instead, you’re talking with your guests. Taking pictures. Watching your child light up when everyone sings “Happy Birthday.” Actually being part of the memories instead of simply trying to get through the party.

And when it’s over?

You don’t go home to a destroyed house and hours of cleanup. You pack up the gifts, head home, get comfortable, and enjoy watching your child open and play with all their new presents—without feeling completely exhausted.

Meet Macy, Owner of Lyon Gymnastics
If you’ve been around Lyon Gymnastics for a while, you probably know me as the one coaching, answering messages, moving mats around, or chatting with parents, but here’s a little more about the why behind Lyon Gymnastics.

I’ve loved working with kids for as long as I can remember, and gymnastics has been part of my life since I was 7 years old. I grew up as a competitive gymnast at CATTS Gymnastics and eventually started coaching recreational classes there too. After high school, I continued athletics through college Track & Field.

Later, I coached at Wichita Gymnastics Club, including coaching their competitive team and traveling to meets. I’m ACE and Safe Sport Certified, and between being a gymnast and a coach, I’ve now spent 23 years in the sport. Along the way, I’ve had some pretty incredible opportunities to learn from amazing coaches and gymnasts and even got to meet Aly Raisman and Simone Biles!

But Lyon Gymnastics really came from something bigger than just my love for gymnastics. When we moved to Emporia 9 years ago, I saw a need for more activities for younger kids and started dreaming about what a gym could look like if it wasn’t just about learning gymnastics skills. I wanted a place where kids could move their bodies, play, be silly, make friends, build confidence, learn how to listen and take turns, try hard things, fall down, get back up and figure out just how capable they are.

And I wanted it to be fun for the whole family.

That vision has grown and changed over the years, but the heart behind it hasn’t. Lyon Gymnastics is a place where gymnastics, play, life skills and social development all get to come together. Because yes, I love gymnastics. But even more than that, I love getting to help raise happy, healthy, confident kids through it. And getting to know all of your families along the way and have such an incredible staff has been more than I could have predicted.

If the class you’re looking for is full, please don’t let that stop you from joining the waitlist. We use our waitlists to see where we need to add more spots, open additional class times, or make adjustments as we are able. Adding your name helps us know exactly where the need is.

And a little reminder: just because our Fall Session has started does NOT mean enrollment has ended!

We enroll ALL YEAR LONG. You can enroll at any point during a session when a spot is available.

This class would offer a smaller coach-to-athlete ratio, more focused instruction, and extra attention on each gymnast’s individual skills, strength, technique, and progress.
