To our Reds players and families,
Thank you for your participation in tryouts last weekend! We all survived the heat and had a great turnout! Our participation numbers are way up which is very encouraging! For 2027 we will field 2 8-U teams, a great reflection of the success of our program and exactly what our mission is all about. For the first time in several years we also will have a 16-U team under the umbrella of of our Red’s program, following the long tradition of Emporia Post 5 Baseball and the Emporia Baseball Club. We now have a pathway to create opportunities for our young players and families to enjoy the experience of Reds Baseball, from 7-U through High School!
As a non profit organization we have so many businesses in our community that support our mission and our goals to provide opportunities for the youth of Emporia. Thanks Emporia! I promise you, our Red’s program will continue to provide the best opportunity for the youth in Lyon County!
Sincerely, Jim Markowitz, Board Chair, Emporia Reds Baseball.

The Emporia Reds program is the only non profit competitive baseball organization in Emporia and the surrounding area. We are proud of the sustainable progress that we have made developing our program with player development, affordability, and family in mind.

Player fees include the use of our new indoor facility. The facility is available to all of our Reds family, and Emporia High baseball players at no cost. Please feel free to email any of our Reds board members with questions at: [email protected]

The 16-U team will be playing a 24 to 30 game schedule next summer with several games to be played at Soden’s Grove.

This year's Red's 8U team went 10-4 in league and 15-10 overall, good for 3rd place in both league and the end of the season league tournament. Good job fellas!
