Somewhere between the range and the leaderboard, a lot of us quietly stopped asking the one question that actually predicts whether our kid keeps playing.

Not "how'd you hit it?" Not "what happened on 5?"

You don't need matching outfits or a bag full of clubs. One putter, a small bucket at the range, and an hour where nobody checks a phone. That's the whole thing.

Some of the best golfers we coach started exactly like this: a parent and a kid messing around near the green, no pressure, no score. Start close, keep it fun, let the love of it grow.
