This time of the year is my favorite time of the year to target blue catfish because the potential to catch a giant catfish is at its highest in my opinion ! Ofcourse the fronts that hit can affect the bite and hurt the outcome but overall Trophy Fishing is good also its worth mentioning that although sometimes the action gets crazy overall trophy fishing is a slower bite but the next bite might be a fish of a lifetime !! Got out on the water today because my daughter(the one that usually has no intrest in fishing) requested a trip wanting a updated big fish pic ! We fished a few hours bite was not fast by any means due to no wind and bluebird skies but we made it happen and the trip was a success. I have been slacking and not fishing much but its trophy time now and its my favorite time to go so let's go !!
