Owner Chris Korell and brother Cody Korell were born and raise here and together have over 28 years experience guiding hunters in this area. They do everything it takes to make a successful outfitting business work.

We were able to take advantage of the one big snowstorm we’ve had so far and this father/son duo was able to take these two cats back to Iowa with them!

As 2023 is coming to an end, we would like to let everyone know that we have sold part of our business in our upper country and are no longer doing any guided elk or deer hunts.

That being said, we are so excited to be able to put more time and energy into our bear and cougar hunts. Hunting behind our dogs is what we are most passionate about and we still have a lot of ground to do this on. We are booking now for 2024!

Thank you to all of our past clients. Chris and the rest of our crew won’t forget all of those memories made in elk camp! If you have any good stories, Chris would love to read them.

Another week wrapped up! The dogs finally got this bear up a tree instead of in another rock pile.

We had a cancellation last week so we got to hunt for ourselves. Lafe got this big, old guy with the dogs and sticking with the theme of the year, the dogs got him bayed up in a rock pile. While a couple of our dogs were working on this bear, a few of our others ended up treeing the sow that was traveling with him. Definitely a good day!

This bear is BY FAR the oldest and meanest we’ve ever killed. It will be exciting to hear back from IDFG how old he was.

To wrap up our story about Guy’s bear, the dogs ran him into a huge rock pile which definitely makes for an exciting time!
Since Lafe is the youngest (and the smallest), his job is usually to be the one to crawl into the cave to help get the dead bear out. Our hunts are always an adventure!
