Meridian Saddle Shop Mike Bernhard custom makes saddles, tack holsters, sheaths, handbags, wallets, belts and many more leather goods.

Mike Bernhard hand crafts each saddle tree to ensure an excellent fit to both rider and horse. Each saddle tree is made from Poplar and laminated hardwoods and then covered with heavy rawhide. All of the leather used at the Meridian Saddle Shop comes from Herman Oak Leather Company, who has been in business since 1881. The hardware Mike uses is made of brass or stainless steel. Each saddle is numb

ered and then recorded in our files. Most of the saddles are made for the working buckaroo or cowboy. The quality, comfort and security that come from using the very best material and methods are a must for those in the saddle every day, all day. Recreational riders also find substantial benefits from our saddles when they are custom fit to their needs. Mike personally makes sure that each saddle, tack and other needed gear made at the Meridian Saddle Shop are as near perfect as his experience.
