**Baked Salmon with Lemon and Dill**
**Ingredients:**
- 4 salmon fillets (about 6 ounces each)
- 2 tablespoons olive oil
- 2 tablespoons fresh lemon juice
- 2 cloves garlic, minced
- 1 tablespoon fresh dill, chopped (or 1 teaspoon dried dill)
- Salt and pepper to taste
- Lemon slices for garnish
- Fresh dill sprigs for garnish
**Instructions:**
1. Preheat your oven to 400°F (200°C) and line a baking sheet with parchment paper or lightly grease it.
2. In a small bowl, whisk together the olive oil, lemon juice, minced garlic, chopped dill, salt, and pepper to create the marinade.
3. Place the salmon fillets on the prepared baking sheet, skin side down if they have skin.
4. Brush the salmon fillets evenly with the lemon dill marinade, making sure to coat them thoroughly.
5. Place a lemon slice on top of each salmon fillet for extra flavor and garnish.
6. Bake the salmon in the preheated oven for about 12-15 minutes, or until the fish flakes easily with a fork and is cooked to your desired doneness.
7. Once baked, remove the salmon from the oven and let it rest for a few minutes before serving.
8. Garnish the baked salmon with fresh dill sprigs before serving for a vibrant and aromatic touch.
