Our 19th dance season is wrapping up next week! We are so proud of all our dancers and their efforts to come in each week and give it their all. The greatest thing as a dance teacher is to see growth and progress, and we are so excited to showcase exactly that at our recital next Sunday!

Miss Carmen surprised some of our classes this week with a shimmy break! What a fun way to introduce our dancers to another style of dancing in addition to their ballet and tap classes.

Bellydance has deep roots in Middle Eastern folk traditions, with a focus on isolations, fluid motions, and muscle control. Students learn a sense of rhythm and a whole new world of dance outside of western style dancing. Plus, who doesn’t love a jingling hip scarf?!

We are proud to offer bellydance for both kids and adults at Allegro ❤️
