Pam's Dance Academy Family it is with great sadness that I must post to you today. Our dance sister, Suzanne Pizzuto (Weadon) has passed on. Please say a prayer for her family, Linda Mulligan Smith, Christina Weadon Simpkins, Lisa Anne Martinez, her husband, father and everyone else that loved her.
We will miss that silly, beautiful, smart, funny girl. She was such a joy to be around. I can't even imagine this world without her kind, genuine soul infecting everyone that she met.
I still remember the day she told me that she wanted to be a teacher. She asked me if I had any of my "words of wisdom" for her. I told her that there is no better gift to give your students than to believe in them. As a teacher, you have to see the potential before they do and then inspire it out of them. I knew she would accomplish it. She wanted everyone to be happy.
There was not one dance class, performance, event or gathering that Suzanne did not make everyone smile. She would go from silly to serious in a heartbeat and it always made for good times.
Who remembers the recital that she had a quick change and missed the cue to be on stage. She danced her way out after the number started and then we all realized that her costume was on backwards! It was pretty noticeable and we were all trying to keep composure. When she came offstage, I said, "You do know you did that entire number with your costume on backwards" We were all cracking up and she was all serious and said, " That was the best routine I ever did because I knew that everyone was looking at me and I was so afraid to mess up!" Then as serious as could be she added, "But my hair stayed up!"
Thanks so much Suzanne for bringing so much happiness to me and the entire dance school. I love you so very much and I am so very thankful for all the amazing memories that you helped create. RIP honey. Until we dance again. I will see you on the other side of the rainbow.
