What I always say, practice

“A shot a day keeps the doubt at bay” — I take a target everywhere I go. On hunts your gear gets beat hard, it’s just part of the game. Making a shot or two to check things are still on is important for confirmation and confidence. It’s easy to go on a hunt and get tunnel vision of only the hunt and neglect practice for weeks on end. My advice is to take some time to grease the wheel and keep the sub conscious sharp.

🦌 2020-21 hunting licenses are now on sale. Some licenses can be purchased online. Antlerless deer license applications must be made directly to county treasurers.

Fishing is open in Pa.

The Pennsylvania Fish & Boat Commission announced the launching of the season Tuesday after it had been scheduled for April 18.

The decision to open trout season immediately was made by the Pennsylvania Fish and Boat Commission. It is intended to discourage concentrated gatherings of people that may have occurred on the traditional opening day, to minimize intrastate and interstate travel, and to reduce the threat of illegal poaching in waters that have already been stocked.
