What keeps you up at night as a local tourism business? Take this 10 minute survey...for tourism businesses...created by tourism business owners as a way to communicate with Park county and state agencies. Do you oppose the county's attempts to raise taxes on your tourism business in order to fund operations? Or do you see it as an opportunity to tell the county how you would like it to be spent? Either way, here's a chance to share your voice.

As a business owner or operator who depends, in whole or in part, on outdoor recreation and tourism, your insight and experiences are invaluable. By sharing your experiences in this survey, you are contributing to a foundation for actionable strategies that will benefit not only our natural surround...

Trout Unlimited has been working with local landowners, Montana Fish, Wildlife & Parks and the U.S. Forest Service to restore native Yellowstone Cutthroat Trout populations in Mill Creek, the largest tributary to the Upper Yellowstone River and located in the Paradise Valley. Watch this educational video to learn more about this community-based restoration effort and consider donating to help complete the next major project component to preserve over 45 stream miles of critical habitat.

Learn how the Elk Rent Program pays Paradise Valley ranchers each day that our local elk herds are on their lands. UYWG team members and our partner NGOs, including Park County Environmental Council developed an excellent model that demonstrates private land owners can have a meaningful role in wildlife and resource management through collaborative and fair engagement with invested parties.

A new program in Montana's Paradise Valley would subsidize ranchers and farmers with so-called elk rent payments for elk using their land.

Join us on Saturday September 16th as we GIVE BACK to our beloved Yellowstone!

We're asking for volunteers to help out by floating sections of the river and cleaning up trash and debris still left from the historic flooding and summer recreational use.

Bring your family, rally friends and make a day on the river something the whole community will appreciate.

With 2๏ธโƒฃ clean up locations to help from:

-Paradise Adventure Company in Gardiner, MT

To give thanks we will cap off the day of volunteering with beer ๐Ÿป and food in Sacajawea Park (in the bandshell) to celebrate your efforts to help cleanup the Yellowstone River.

The event kicks off at 9 AM with trash bags and gloves provided the day off. All trash can be brought back to the park for disposal when you've completed your float in the afternoon.

Understanding the linkage between tourism and our healthy local economy is presented with data. A good read to help inform policies.

Our local business coalition (in partnership with our conservation district, the Upper Yellowstone Watershed Group) is focused on policies and trends that impact Park County's tourism economy and rural way of life, both of which are intricately tied to the Greater Yellowstone area. Annually, tourism...
